About Me
I believe that all of us, including yourself, we deserve the best life we can have. You deserve to be happy – how does that resonate with you?
Let me tell you about me. I am Beata the founder and owner of Someone to talk to.
I am a Counsellor and Hypnotherapist and I support people to be happier and more contented. My passion for therapy lies in being able to offer bespoke help. It is my urge for a lot of years and by now I already assisted hundreds of individuals and couples. I call it ‘a super power’ that I am able to work in English and Polish language. I talk and I have therapy with adults and children from all types of upbringing, age, education level, gender, employment and business.
You can ask me to help you and I will do my best. I will work with you to recognise, understand and appreciate your feelings and behaviour, in order to make your existence to be full of contentment, gratitude and fulfilment. Thanks to that, when you decide that you are ready to work on any changes we can make that happen.
In my work with you I will aim to support you and I will try to help you to tune into your inner wisdom. I understand that you are in a difficult moment of your life. You will find in our therapy, on my site empathy, acceptance as well as openness and we will work in confidential atmosphere of security, respect and honesty.
My previous clients told me that I am warm, genuine and non-judgmental. I consider myself all those things too.
You are going to be my partner in therapy. It is you who is the expert of your life and hopefully you will share with me what you will have to share. And the change will begin.
I strongly believe that counselling and hypnotherapy are two of the best ways to help people to have more satisfying lives. I recognise that as human beings we are complex. That is why each therapeutic session is always tailored to meet you as an individual.
I really enjoy expanding my knowledge and experience by attending specialist trainings and professional workshops. My qualifications are continually improving and thanks to that I help on a high level.
The work that we will do together would rely a lot on a common sense approach.
I am working as Integrative Counsellor and I have faith in therapies with scientifically proven effectiveness, such as:
- Person Centred Therapy
- Systemic Therapy
- Psychodynamic Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
- Transactional Analysis
As hypnotherapist I work with the Milton Erickson method.
On professional level I always make sure that I follow the Code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and the Hypnotherapist’s Code of Ethics.
To be sure that my counselling service is on a very high ethical level I regularly check my work with certified supervisors.
It is over a decade that I am helping people as a Counsellor. I have gained my professional experience, working with Relate – The Relationship People (Relate offers nationwide counselling services for every type of relationship), Cruse Bereavement Care (Cruse offers support, advice and information to people who experience complicated bereavement) and working with clients in my own private practice.
I am also certified clinical counselling supervisor for all professions that require it and I do counselling students at University Campus North Lincolnshire.
For many years I was volunteering for charities as a Counsellor.
My Enhanced Certificate from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is always up to date.
