We are breaking the silence. Because it is worth living easier.

When you say out loud that you are using therapy, that you are reaching out for help – you are not showing your weakness. You are showing your strength.

Dear Woman, if you carry pain inside you that you have been hiding behind a smile for years, today is the day to take the first step. Talking about your emotions is not dramatization. It is relief. It is opening the door behind which there may be more light than you thought.

Dear Man, I know that for years you may have heard: “boys don’t cry”, “you can do it yourself”. But you have the right to be fed up. You have the right to be tired. And no – you do not have to prove your strength by staying silent. True courage is admitting that something hurts you. And that you want to heal it.

Benefits of breaking the silence?

It is easier to breathe. It is easier to live.

Shame disappears, peace appears.

Relationships become deeper, more real.

And you – start being yourself, not just your mask.

How can you take this first step?

Start with one trusted person. It could be a friend, brother, therapist – say out loud: “I can’t do this alone anymore.” That’s enough.

Write a letter. If you find it hard to talk – write what you’re afraid of, what hurts you, what you need. You don’t have to send it right away. Sometimes just putting your thoughts on paper works like an open window in a stuffy space.

You are not alone.

You are not alone.

And you don’t have to pretend that everything is fine any longer.

With tenderness,

Beata from Someone to talk to 🤗
