How to get yourself the key to a happy life?

I am a counsellor, I am far from a spiritual master or an enlightened person. Throughout November 2023, we shared knowledge about gratitude on our social media in “Someone to talk to”. This was the main topic, and our entire team and invited guests shared our knowledge and our experiences that come with personal development about it.

Gratitude can be described as a state, vibration, or emotion. It is also a set of positive feelings and thoughts related to appreciation.

Gratitude is so powerful that it can fill you with beautiful emotions, increase your life energy and block negative thoughts.

That’s why I often say that when you want to quickly change what you feel for the better, think about what you are grateful for today and FEEL this gratitude in your heart. If you do it properly, it is guaranteed that your well-being will immediately rise to the top.

You can be grateful for life, for someone or someone’s behaviour, for a situation, nature, emotions, experiences; gratitude it is appreciation or kindness towards others. You can feel it towards yourself, other people, the world. You can also be grateful for things big and small. Only your imagination limits you here.

Do you know what happens to you when you feel and express gratitude?:

You may notice greater satisfaction with your life, more good things and situations…

You may feel the desire to do something good for others, yourself, the world…

It increases the comfort of your brain chemistry, and this can increase your life energy, but also the energy of your relationships.

It can help you manifest the life you want.

You can attract good situations, opportunities, and helpful people… and as a result, the door to even greater fortune will opens.

You will feel less tired and have more energy to act.

Your blood pressure will be at the appropriate level.

Your sleep will be of higher quality.

That’s why I wholeheartedly believe that gratitude has the power to change our lives for the better and is the key to a happy life.

I hope you will agree with me that anyone can practice gratitude, and that age, skin colour, political beliefs or financial status do not matter here.

But I’m not sure if you know that gratitude can be strengthened.

When you say the words ‘Thank you’ or ‘I am grateful’, the intention behind them is rather obvious. However, it sometimes happens that they do not express what we would like to express. You can fix this. Below are two examples.

Notice and tell how an action affected you. For example: “Thank you for making me breakfast, I feel spoiled.”

Or notice and say that you appreciate that the other person is there because you need them. For example: “Thank you for doing the homework with the children. It makes me feel less stressed and I feel like we complete each other.”

Below you have some tips on how to develop gratitude.

11 ways to develop gratitude:

• Notice the beauty around you.

• Thank someone different each week.

• Be humble.

• Focus on other people’s intentions.
